The median is the middle value when numbers are arranged in order. In the sequence 3, 7, 9, 15, 20, the middle number is 9.
The mode can have more than one value if multiple values appear with the same highest frequency.
When two or more values appear with the same highest frequency, the data set is multimodal, having multiple modes.
