At a speed of 15 miles per hour, in 4 hours, the distance covered would be 60 miles (15 x 4).

At the bakery, 3 muffins cost £1.50. How much would 12 muffins cost?

If 3 muffins cost £1.50, then 12 muffins would cost £6.00, as £1.50 multiplied by 4 equals £6.00.

Number Answer

A school trip costs £240 for 8 children. If 12 children go on the trip, what will the total cost be?

Answer: 360

If 8 children cost £240, then the cost per child is £240 ÷ 8 = £30. For 12 children, the total cost is 12 × £30 = £360.
